Wow - Dolly Does It Big

Dear Librarians, today Dolly Merrick, our wonderous window dresser, installed a most worthy display entitled Are You a Mayflower Descendant?  Further, she invited every window visitor to walk right into the library and uncover a possible Mayflower ancestor!  For most visitors new to genealogical search, reaching back 10 or 11 generations or more may mean several library visits.  But Lethene and Sharon suggest 2 CCGS resources to start:  

1.  Use Readerware (our library catalog) searching Mayflower with "keyword and" then 
2.  Go online to our American Ancestors member connection, then Search via Databases drop-down.  

Dolly requests our for the future display window entitled Grandmothers -  if you have a vintage original photo of a grandmother (or greatgrandmother or gg or ggg mother), please allow Dolly to borrow it to produce an enlargement.
