Mid Week Update May 1

Hello Librarians - Here are 2 great items to pass along to you, patrons, members and potential new members:  First is Tech Saturday on 11th May will consider "Grabbing Images from your Devices" as well as any other technical question that may assist your genealogical research capabilities.  And Second:  Enjoy Steve Young's Pacific Painted Turtle we saw last Saturday from Steigerwald.

Welcome Jodi Siewert - New Librarian

New Librarian, Jodi has completed introductory training sessions and her first full library day last Friday.  With her new skills, she found husband Jim's father's 1960 Vancouver High School graduation photo.  Great find!

Librarians Mid-Week Update April 10

Hello Librarians - Wow we've been busy these past 2 weeks!   Spring Classes finished with Maps.  Webinars continue on Wednesdays and the Vertical Files team began their process of reviewing our existing VFiles prior to integrating newly donated materials.
Tech Saturday on April 13th - bring your computer related questions and join the tech conversations.
Seminar Registration is open -- get your registration form online at www.ccgs-wa.org, and in the Library.
Auction Night at the Museum - 5 pm after the Seminar.  If you follow CCGS on Facebook, watch for our wonderful friends supporting our Auction with great donations.  We want and appreciate all these WOW silent auction items and will Facebook post our donations as they come.
